Battle of the Sugar Bugs is a printable toothbrushing card game designed for children ages 5 and up. Instead of relying on repeated reminders, your child becomes the hero and draws cards to defeat the Sugar Bugs while brushing every area of their teeth.

Each card shows your child:

• Where to brush
• How to move their toothbrush
• How long to brush that area

By the end of the card game, your child has completed a full two minutes of brushing.

Meet the Sugar Bugs

Your child will face three members of the Sugar Bug Army:

• Incisor Invader — attacks the front teeth
• Canine Chomper — hides around the canine and premolar areas
• Molar Masher — battles from the back molars

As the game progresses, the Sugar Bugs can launch combination attacks that encourage children to brush multiple areas of their mouth.

How to Play

Choose a level and draw the battle cards one at a time. Help your child follow each card's directions as they brush the pictured area and battle the matching Sugar Bug.

Continue drawing cards until the Sugar Bugs have been defeated and the full two-minute brushing routine is complete. Then celebrate the victory with the included trophy!

Print the cards on cardstock or laminate them for repeated use.
