The Muddy Knight Gets Mighty Clean — Shower Story & Checklist

Turn shower time into a quest.

The Knight has been called back to the castle to receive the Medal of Valor — but he's covered in mud. Your child helps him get clean by doing each step of their own shower. By the end, the Knight earns his medal… and so does your child.

How It Works

Each story panel ends with a cue like "Follow steps 1–3 on list A." Read a panel, your child does those steps and checks them off, and the adventure moves forward. The knight's face is left open, so your child can imagine they're the one in the armor.

On busy nights, the checklists work on their own too, with no story needed.

Good to Know

• The faucet pictures show a single-handle dial and a tub-spout lever. If your shower works differently, show your child how yours works for the first steps.
• Younger kids may need a grown-up to help set the water temperature.
• Laminate the checklists or slide them into sheet protectors, hang them outside the spray, and check off circles with a dry-erase marker or bath crayon. Lamination is water-resistant, not waterproof.
